This release again restores compatibility with Ensembl.

PerlPrimer v1.1.13 released

Ensembl compatibility again restored. PerlPrimer now also checks that both Genomic and mRNA sequences are present before searching for real-time primers.

The Download page now also has some specific installation instructions for Mac OS-X.

PerlPrimer v1.1.12 released

This release enables the retrieval of un-annotated genes from Ensembl (using the Ensembl Gene ID), and restores compatibility with the NCBI BLAST results.

The ORF finding routines have been adapted slightly to allow for transcription initiation from TTG, GTG and CTG codons, in the absence of an initiating ATG.

PerlPrimer v1.1.11 released

This release again restores Ensembl compatibility, and fixes a small bug related to detecting the REBASE restriction enzyme file in a user's home directory.
